Ghetto school with teachers who sexually assault students. One teacher was reported to the principal and he did nothing about it during my freshman year. Now he’s finally arrested after it happened to another student, except he went to a different school. This school had constant fights and the teachers couldn’t keep things under control except by stopping it with applied force. Also most teachers hated Mr. Barber (which he’s too stupid to realize that). I find it ironic because the students did too. The teachers only cared about their paychecks, most did at least, some were good teachers. The assistant principals were ghetto as *beep* too! I feel like they brought them off of the street. They walked around like they owned the school except they sure didn't know how to keep things under control. I’m glad I left that place and now go to an Ivy League school. I also had to teach myself how to study because the teachers here were too worried about standardized testing then they were preparing students for college. If you want a decent experience get involved in AP courses so you at least learn something, instead of being in a class where they talk over the teacher and make teachers cry. I would say join organizations but those really aren’t any good either. You as a student in a low class area have to dish out money to be involved, and for what?!!! Everything has to go through Barber and the bad thing is the school is too big to just go through one person. But hey let’s walk around with walkie talkies all day and intimidize students, instead of planning things to keep students active. It was a jail experience.
